Preserved
in Paris, Musée de la Musique, n° E.1185. Dark stained boxwood. Ivory
rings on each joint and at the opening of the bell.
Hendryk
Richters was a Dutch woodwind maker active during the first half of the
XVIIIth century with his brother Fredrik. Subsisting instruments by
him, mostly out of ebony with ornamented ivory mountings, show a
particular craftsmanship.
